Web3Games announced this Wednesday, March 02, through its Twitter account, that it has raised $4.0 million in funding led by DAO Maker, bringing the next generation gaming and digital content ecosystem to Web3.

“Since March 2021, we have been developing Web3Games, an integrated ecosystem of blockchain games. Today, we are incredibly proud to announce the closing of our 4.0 million oversubscription funding led by Dao Maker. The round includes additional investments from the best organizations in the industry to build the Web3Games community together. Big thanks to all the investors and collaborators who have supported us with their fantastic efforts”, he said through an article published on the Medium platform.

According to the company, with the private sale now concluded, the funds will be used to fuel our development cycle and fuel the launch of our token. Web3Games Portal, our first product, will launch in March 2022 and will be the gateway for our blockchain gamers. Meanwhile, in this year, our first batch of NFT blockchain games, spanning six different genres, will be successively released by Web3Games Studios.

Similarly, he indicated that Web3Games will collaborate and help traditional game developers integrate their gaming products with blockchain, making game assets decentralized and permissionless, and returning digital ownership of game items to players.
