“Orion Protocol, the liquidity aggregator that builds a decentralized gateway to the entire crypto market reveals that Avalanche is the latest chain to be integrated into the protocol. Upon completion, Orion Terminal users will be able to seamlessly access the rapidly growing liquidity on the Avalanche chain. This partnership follows a recent integration with Binance Smart Chain, and more chains will be announced”, the company said in an article posted on its website.

As the company commented, the Orion Protocol will provide a non-custodial gateway to the entire digital asset market, adding liquidity through decentralized and centralized crypto exchanges and exchange platforms on a decentralized platform. Orion seeks to resolve the fragmentation of crypto markets, as well as traditional finance assets.

“Orion is independent of the chain and does not depend on any platform to bring users centralized and decentralized liquidity directly to their wallet. By integrating multiple blockchains on one platform, the Orion Protocol gives users more freedom to transact in the crypto sphere”, he highlighted.

In his view, since the launch of the Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge (AEB) on February 8, 2021, the activity of smart contracts in Avalanche “has exploded, with transactions that increased by 972% to more than 580,000 and unique wallets that increased by 1,681% to 38,000”. Therefore, Orion said, the Avalanche implementation at Orion Terminal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021, where users can access Avalanche exchanges, assets, and liquidity directly through Orion Terminal.

Orion’s Avalanche integration will significantly increase the performance, reliability and security of your Terminal to provide the best possible user experience for merchants. The integration will also allow Orion Protocol users to access the growing list of decentralized applications and new financial primitives on the platform”, he added.

The company highlighted that while many multi-chain aggregators require end users to select the separate chains and operate with the available tokens on that chain, the multiple chains built into Orion Terminal will remain in the back end for a smooth user experience. more like that of a centralized exchange, but without the commitment to deliver custody of your assets.

“The integration of Avalanche into the Orion Protocol marks a big step forward for us as an independent exchange aggregator in the chain. Market-leading performance is critical to our success: Avalanche will deliver significantly faster transactional throughput and finality, lower latency, and increased security for Orion Terminal, ensuring the best user experience for merchants. The rapid speed of adoption of Avalanche to date is testament to the immense value they bring to the DeFi industry, and we look forward to bringing this value to Orion Terminal users”, said Alexey Koloskov, CEO and co-founder of Orion Terminal.
