Nyan Heroes announced last Wednesday, November 3, through its Twitter account, the closure of its initial initial round of $2.5 million to accelerate the development of its blockchain game, built in Solana, which seeks to interrupt the current P2E economic models.

“Nyan Heroes is pleased to announce that the initial round of early stage funding is officially closed. The round was led by Three Arrows Capital, Mechanism Capital and DeFiance Capital. We are pleased to announce additional strategic support from Sino Global Capital, Infinity Ventures Capital, Solana Ventures, Skyvision Capital, Yield Guild Games, and Merit Circle. We would also like to thank notable angels such as Kevin Lin (Twitch), Thomas Vu (Riot Games), Jihan Wu (Matrixport), Darren Lau (The Daily Ape) and MrBlock”, he said through an article published on the Medium platform.
Nyan Heroes project updates
The company explained that Nyan Heroes is a third-person shooter based on Solana. Our mission is to become the leading PvP skill-based blockchain game project. By focusing on the game first, we seek to introduce millions of traditional players to the blockchain ecosystem through an already familiar, popular and modern genre of games.
In his view, they have recently completed their Genesis Nyan NFT pre-sale which took place over 2 weeks through 6 community missions. So, according to the company, they were able to successfully implement a whitelist system that ensured that the majority of their NFTs went to the community and true supporters of bots, which is a common problem that affects many project launches. In addition, the Public Sale for the rest of the collection will take place on November 8 through the Fair Launch Protocol.
The company highlighted that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to its charity partner Best Friends Animal Society, where each minted Nyan will go to save a real life cat. The remainder of the sales will be used alongside seed funding to accelerate development of its flagship title Nyan Heroes, a third-person shooter battle royale, for rival games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends.
