DigiShares to Incorporate Real-World Assets with Balancer

Balancer Grants announced on Wednesday, September 29, through its Twitter account, that DigiShares will incorporate real-world assets compatible with Balancer. According to the company, this grant develops some of the functions required for groups that meet institutional standards, such as white listing and ERC-1400 compliance.

“The Balancer Grants DAO team is proud to announce the approval of the grant application by RealEstate.Exchange to develop Balancer”, he said in an article posted on the Medium platform.

The company explained that RealEstate.exchange is a decentralized exchange that aims to allow investors to borrow, buy and sell crypto real estate in a compatible manner. This grant covers the work required to extend Balancer and develops some functionality required for institutional compliance groups, such as whitelisting and ERC-1400 compatibility.

“The Balancer Grants DAO is excited to explore the future of DeFi where it crosses over into the real world. RealEstate.exchange is a start as we see more and more assets start tokenizing on blockchains. We would love to be part of the journey to see this happen at Balancer”, said Nick, member of the Balancer Grants.

For his part, Mark Dencker, Creator RealEstate.Exchange said they are “excited to partner with a bluechip protocol like Balancer, pushing the barriers and building the bridges for traditional finance to move into DeFi and the future of finance. Together with Balancer, we will effectively make real estate a liquid investment opportunity and unlock a tsunami of innovation and potential in a market of over $10 trillion”.

About RealEstate.Exchange

It is a decentralized marketplace for exchange (DEX) and DeFi loans that will allow investors to buy, sell and borrow with real estate tokens. Taking the best elements of pre-existing DEX and AMMs like Balancer and DeFi lending platforms like Aave, we are adding a whitelist layer to comply with regulations when trading and borrowing against real estate tokens.

“RealEstate.Exchange and BRICK are created by DigiShares. DigiShares is a leader in the real estate tokenization market and already has many assets on its platform”, he said.
